FAM has held annual Poetry Jams since its founding to celebrate and highlight the history, culture, and traditions of Watts. Participants of the Poetry Jams are youth ages 5-21 who submit a poem or spoken word piece and perform at the Watts Coffee House/Mafundi Building.
